When will registration open?
What is the minimum age for participation?
The Ultra Trail do Marão is only open to participants aged 18 or over. The Marão Walk is open to everyone. Children under the age of 10 must beaccompanied by an adult throughout the entire route.
How do I know if my registration has been completed?
You will receive an email confirming your registration / You can check yourregistration using the search cursor for those registered / You can log into your AthleteArea on the Stop and Go platform and check.
If you can't take part, can you get a refund? Under what conditions?
Yes.
We advise you to sign up to the Registration Guarantee when you enrol. This is the onlyway to transfer your registration to the next edition (in the event of the event beingcancelled for reasons not attributable to the organisation … up to 19.03.2026) or to receive a 100% refund of the registration fee up to 28.02.2026 or a 70% refund in theform of a voucher for the next edition) up to 12:00 on 15.03.2025. At the end of thisperiod, you will no longer be reimbursed.
What if I don't underwrite the Registration Guarantee, will I get a refund? Andunder what conditions?
No, if you haven’t subscribed to the Enrolment Guarantee you won’t be refundedanything.
When will I get a refund after a cancellation?
According to the regulations, up to one week after the request; for requests from 01.03.2026 up to 15 days after the event takes place.
What documents do I need to present to cancel my registration and receive a refund?
Under no circumstances is it necessary to submit any documents in order to cancelyour registration. If you have subscribed to the Registration Guarantee, you must sendus proof of your IBAN.
How do I add the option: Registration Guarantee?
The option to subscribe to the Registration Guarantee is only possible at the time ofregistration, so once you have validated your registration you will no longer be able to subscribe to it.
Can I change my registration?
Each registration is personal and non-transferable, so you cannot request that it bechanged to another participant.
Do I need a medical certificate to complete my registration?
No. If the organisation sees fit, it will only require you to submit the Declaration ofIndividual Responsibility and the Fitness Questionnaire.
I've signed up for one of the races, how can I book transport to the start?
Any athlete registered for any of the races: UTME, UTM, TM, MTM or TMC, whentheir registration is validated, it already includes transport to the start, so the athlete willnot have this added cost nor will they have to underwrite anything else.
What material is compulsory?

What can you find in the refuelling stations?
The composition of the supplies is defined in the event regulations.
Is there real-time tracking of the race (UTM Endurance)?
Yes, real-time tracking is guaranteed. There will be a link on our official website for you to follow. It will be set up in the days leading up to the event. In addition, UTME participants will also carry a geolocaliser with them.
How can I collect my Athlete's Kit?
The participant must collect it free of charge from the event secretariat – UTM Village
I've already collected my Athlete's Kit, but something has come up and I won't be able to take part. Will I get a refund?
Picking up the Athlete’s Kit implies the impossibility of cancelling and/or refundingany registration fee.
I collected my Athlete's Kit on time, but I forgot my bib. Can I still take part?
Yes, you can. You must go to the UTM Village secretariat in good time and request a new bib number. This service will cost you €6, and your previous bib number will becancelled immediately.
How do I volunteer?
